Adult Mental Health Housing Services

Housing Services

  • Lehigh County Mental Health assists consumers with obtaining safe and stable housing. Housing options range from Community Residential Rehabilitations and personal care/assisted living facilities to one time rental assistance through the PATH grant to prevent eviction or provide a security deposit which allows independence in the community.

  • CRR (Community Residential Rehabilitation) - CRR referral
    • CRR is a transitional residential program in a community setting designed and operated to assist persons with serious and persistent mental illness to live as independently as possible through the provision of training and assistance in the skills of community living.

  • If community independence is the long term goal, consumers are strongly encouraged to apply for Section 8 through the Allentown Housing Authority or Lehigh County Housing Authority.

  • If you are in active Mental Health treatment and would like to discuss housing options or make a referral, please contact The Lehigh Conference of Churches Clearinghouse Housing Program at 610-841-1370.

  • Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley is a nonprofit organization that builds and renovates simple, affordable housing.  When the houses are competed, they are sold to each prospective homeowner with no interest mortgages.  Find out more about this program, if you qualify or if you would like to volunteer.
