Community Development Block Grant Program

Community Development Block Grant Program (CDBG)- The County of Lehigh is seeking applications from municipalities and non-profit organizations for projects benefiting Lehigh County residents living outside the city limits of Allentown and Bethlehem.

Quality of Life Grant Program

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus COVID-19, the Quality of Life program is not expected to open until May.

Although a specific date has not been set, please check back periodically for updates.

Funding through the Lehigh County Quality of Life grant may be requested for specific programs, new projects, events, and capital projects.  As per Ordinance 2017-131, in addition to the application that will be posted when the program opens, the following information will be required for all requests of $2,500 or more:

  • The current and previous fiscal year’s budget, including the actual revenues and expenditures for the previous year.
  • Audited financial statements for the two (2) previous fiscal years.
  • The positions of all employees, officers and board members who receive $50,000.00 or more in annual compensation, including bonuses, from the requesting organization.
  • The total compensation of the organization’s five (5) highest compensated individuals.
  • A list of all funding sources and the total amount received from each funding source for the previous year.
  • A list of all funding sources for the current year and a list of all pending applications for funding, INCLUDING the amount requested.
        

Tourism Development Grant

Due to the current situation with the Coronavirus COVID-19, the Tourism Development program is not expected to open until May.

Although a specific date has not been set, please check back periodically for updates.

Regional tourism venues which are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, political subdivision, or a municipal authority may request funds for events occurring in Lehigh County. Capital projects (but not general maintenance) which will promote tourism, events, or conventions are also acceptable. 

As per Ordinance 2017-131, in addition to the application that will be posted when the program opens, the following information will be required for all requests of $2,500 or more:
