Personal Property sales are held on the second Wednesday of each month at 10am in room 218 at the Lehigh County Court Courthouse, and must be scheduled 14 days prior to that date (20 if a company), or will be scheduled for the following month.

WRIT OF ATTACHMENT
*Attachments are bank account garnishments, not wage attachments. The deputies will serve the bank personally, then both the bank and the Sheriff’s Office will mail a copy of the writ to the defendant. It is the attorney/pro-se’s responsibility to follow up with the bank to retrieve whatever funds are available, if any. Recovery of funds is NOT guaranteed.
WRIT OF PERSONAL PROPERTY EXECUTION/LEVY
*Deputy will attempt service at the address given. If granted access to the property by the defendant or person-in-charge, deputy will take an inventory of property observed, document on levy card. The documented information will be forwarded to you. If you want the items set for sale, please send us something in writing, either through fax or letter. If the deputy is denied access to the property, they will attempt to levy anything of value outside the property, whether it be a vehicle or machinery, etc. In this case, it is the responsibility of the attorney/pro-se to petition the court for an order to Break and Enter or post the property.

*Deputy will call the attorney upon service to set up a date for eviction/lockout. Deputies will be present during the eviction to ensure the safety of all involved, but it is the Attorney/Pro-se’s responsibility to set up a locksmith and/or moving crew.
