Outpatient Mental Health Services

  • Consumers with Magellan Behavioral Health coverage can either click on the Magellan list of providers or contact the Magellan member line at 1-866-238-2311.

  • Consumers 18 and over seeking county funded services are required to come to the Government Center and complete a financial determination to see if the consumer will have a financial liability for the services.
  • If you are seeking outpatient funding, there are walk in hours. 
  • Walk-in Hours: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday - 9:00am – 11:00am AND Wednesday – 9:00am – 11:00am and 1:00pm – 3:00pm

  • To be seen during walk in hours, you must bring: Photo ID, SS card, proof of income.   For a more detailed list, please print out the Walk-in Information sheet. 

 

  • Consumers seeking funding for services other than outpatient should contact their provider to complete a referral form to be forwarded to the county. Other services may include but are not limited to: Case Management, Residential Referrals, etc.

 

  • Priority for county funded services is given to those individuals with no insurance or private insurance without mental health coverage. 

 

  • Currently Lehigh County Mental Health contracts with several outpatient treatment providers for delivery of county funded mental health services. Current providers include: Lehigh Valley Hospital Center MH Clinics (Allentown and Bethlehem locations), Cedar Point Counseling Services, Haven House Outpatient Services and Hispanic American Organization.

  • Eligibility for services is based on meeting criteria in each of the following categories: age, residency, clinical presentation, financial eligibility. The Financial Liability process determines whether or not there is a consumer co-payment for any of these services.
