The COVID-19 Hospitality Industry Recovery Program (CHIRP) will allocate $145 million in funding assistance to the hospitality industry businesses adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. Lehigh County received $4,183,030.00 for this program. Grant awards will be up to $10,000.00. Rising Tide will administer the grant applications for Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

A Catholic Charities staff member will be in contact with the applicant upon receiving an application. Lehigh County departments / staff are not accepting applications nor will assist in completing applications. All questions must be routed to Catholic Charities. 2021 Citizens Academy
Beginning February 4, 2021, through April 2021, Lehigh County will be hosting its 2021 Citizens Academy for all residents. The weekly seminars will be hosted by Lehigh County department heads and row officers as they present educational information pertaining to their respective departments and agencies. All sessions will be free and open to the public. Each session will be held virtually via ZOOM on Thursday nights from 6PM-8PM in a webinar-style format.
