January 24	First day to secure signers to nomination petitions
January 31	2011 Annual report due locally in office by 4:00 PM
February 14	Last day to file nomination petitions
February 15	First day to circulate and file nomination papers, nominating independent candidates
February 29	Last day to withdraw nominating petitions
March 1	Drawing lots for position on ballot - 10:00 AM Public Hearing Room Government Center
March 5	First day to receive Official Absentee Ballot Applications
March 13	Last day for candidates for statewide offices, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth
March 26	Last day an elector may register to vote or make any changes to their voting record to be eligible for the  Primary Election
April 13	Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Board of Elections, as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM
April 17	Last day, under certain conditions, to file Application for Official Absentee Ballot
April 19	Sample ballots available for inspection
April 20	Last day to receive Official Absentee Ballot in County Board of Elections by 5:00 PM
April 24	PRIMARY - 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
April 25	First day to register after Primary
April 27	Official Computation begins at 9:00 AM
May 11	At 12:00 Noon cast lots in case of tie votes
May 24	Last day for candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file post-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Bard of Elections as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM
August 1	Last day to circulate and file nomination papers nominating independent candidates
August 8	Last day for candidates who have filed nomination papers to withdraw
August 13	Last day for candidates nominated at the Primary to withdraw
August 23	Last day to file substituted nominations
September 17	First day to receive Official Absentee Ballot Applications
September 25	Last day for candidates for statewide offices, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth
October 9	Last day an elector may register to vote or make change to their voting record to be eligible for the General Election
October 26	Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and/or the County Board of Elections, as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM
