February 19	First day to secure signers or file nomination petitions
January 31	2012 Annual report due locally in office by 4:00 PM
March 12	Last day to file nomination petitions
March 13	First day to circulate and file nomination papers, nominating independent candidates
March 27	Last day to withdraw nominating petitions
March 20	Drawing lots for position on ballot - 10:00 AM Public Hearing Room Government Center
April 1	First day to receive Official Absentee Ballot Applications
April 9	Last day for candidates for statewide offices, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth
April 22	Last day an elector may register to vote or make any changes to their voting record to be eligible for the  Primary Election
May 10	Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Board of Elections, as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM
May 14	Last day, under certain conditions, to file Application for Official Absentee Ballot
May 16	Sample ballots available for inspection
May 17	Last day to receive Official Absentee Ballot in County Board of Elections by 5:00 PM
May 21	PRIMARY - 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
May 22	First day to register after Primary
May 24	Official Computation begins at 9:00 AM
June 7	At 12:00 Noon cast lots in case of tie votes
June 20	Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file post-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth and/or the County Bard of Elections as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM
August 1	Last day to circulate and file nomination papers nominating independent candidates
August 8	Last day for candidates who have filed nomination papers to withdraw
August 12	Last day for candidates nominated at the Primary to withdraw
August 22	Last day to file substituted nominations
September 16	First day to receive Official Absentee Ballot Applications
September 24	Last day for candidates for statewide offices, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Secretary of the Commonwealth
October 7	Last day an elector may register to vote or make change to their voting record to be eligible for the General Election
October 25	Last day for ALL candidates, treasurers of political committees and lobbyists to file pre-election expense reports in the office of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and/or the County Board of Elections, as the case may be, locally in office by 4:00 PM
October 29	Last day, under certain conditions, to file Application for Official Absentee Ballot
October 31	Sample ballots available for inspection
November 1	Last day to receive Official Absentee Ballots in County Board of Elections by 5:00 PM
November 5	ELECTION - 7:00 AM to 8:00 PM
November 6	First day to register after Election
