Foster Care

Quality Assurance and Placement Services

Placement services are needed for a child that requires temporary out-of-home care. The placement caseworker makes referrals to vendor agencies in order to locate the best possible caregiver for a child. Within the first month of a child residing in their new temporary home, a worker will visit the child. Safety and appropriateness of the setting will be assured during this time.   The caseworker will facilitate visitation with the child’s biological family as well as ensure that their medical and educational needs are being met.
