Lehigh County Department of Human Services, including Lehigh County Integrated Services, offers a variety of internship opportunities for both graduate and undergraduate students.

Lehigh County Children's Mental Health and the Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) are housed under the Office of Integrated Services.  This office supports Lehigh County members to Collaborate, Connect, and Coordinate community services and resources.

Children's Mental Health Unit

It is very difficult and emotionally stressful for families when their child has been diagnosed with a mental health illness.  Families’ main concerns are keeping their children safe while seeking appropriate treatment.  Therefore, it is important that families are aware of the mental health services that are available in their county as well as how to obtain funding for these services.

Transitional Age Youth--The Children's Mental Health Unit provides assistance to individuals between the ages of 18-21 years old to access mental health services and community supports that best fit their needs.

Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP)

Lehigh County Child and Adolescent Service System Program (CASSP) 

CASSP is an acronym for Child and Adolescent Service System Program and was developed as a comprehensive system of care to help children ages 3 to 21 with severe emotional disturbances gain access to needed services.  Learn more about CASSP

Lehigh County CASSP provides two different types of meetings, System Coordination Meetings and Placement Authorization Meetings.
