Children's Mental Health Unit
It is very difficult and emotionally stressful for families when their child has been diagnosed with a mental health illness. Families’ main concerns are keeping their children safe while seeking appropriate treatment. Therefore, it is important that families are aware of the mental health services that are available in their county as well as how to obtain funding for these services. Transitional Age Youth--The Children's Mental Health Unit provides assistance to individuals between the ages of 18-21 years old to access mental health services and community supports that best fit their needs.

CASSP is an acronym for Child and Adolescent Service System Program and was developed as a comprehensive system of care to help children ages 3 to 21 with severe emotional disturbances gain access to needed services.
