LEAD, or the life Experiences Academic Diploma Program, is a free high school diploma program for adults 21 and over in Bethlehem.  It is run by the Bethlehem Area School District.  Rather than a GED, you earn a diploma from either Liberty or Freedom High Schools, by attending evening classes three times a week, during the school year.  You can take up to two school years to finish.  To see if you are eligible, you must take an assessment test, given in the fall.

Two year training with job as a goal--up to one year of literacy services and two years of skills training.  provides GED, Clerical/Data Entry, Medical Office Assistant, Medical Insurance Program, Nurses' Aide Health Assistant, Data Entry training and CDL driver's license training, LPN training and many others are available.  Child car is provided.  You must be referred by your Assistance Office caseworker.  Transportation funds are available.
